Frock
& Roll: Fashion That Rocks explores fashion that exists outside
traditional boundaries of daily attire. Garments from a carefully
selected group of designers... some established in the pantheon of
Paris, London & NY fashion & some newly emerging... express
varying perspectives on what defines a garment. Rather than a purely
conventional interpretation of the theme, the show explores the spirit
of rock & roll with it’s inherent irreverence, excitement, &
attitude.

FROCK & ROLL DESIGNER COCKTAIL PARTY Saturday, February 25th some
of the designers will gather at the Baum School of Art in Allentown for a
cocktail party and evening of socializing with the press & the
public. The evening will include cocktails & sushi bar, live
entertainment, a student fashion show and a chance to meet designers Ben
Pappadeas Chmura, Gina Going, Scott Hanna, Kristin Haskins Simms, Annie Haslam, Annina King,
Hannah Nour, Jason Osborne, Pamela Ptak, Jay Nicholas Sario, Stella Zotis &
photographer Joseph Balestra. Tickets for the “meet & greet”
cocktail party are $75 per person and support the educational mission of
the school.
Admission to the exhibit only is free of charge
& gallery hours are Mon-Thurs 9-9 and Fri-Sat 9-3. An official
opening event will be held Monday evening February 13th. For more
